CRWN on the Move: Summit21 in Atlanta

This weekend, our very own Lindsey Day will be speaking at Summit21 in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference is presented by Blavity's 21Ninety, a new lifestyle brand dedicated to the empowerment of women of color. Formerly called EmpowerHer, the 2-day extravaganza is organized into three 'tracks': Beauty, Money, and Impact. Each track highlights different cornerstones of Black entrepreneurship. Top innovators in our community have come from far and wide to host "master classes and fireside chats" about the intricacies of navigating these fields—how to participate in the increasingly Black-owned beauty industry, how to survive and thrive in a corporate setting, and how to continue to spearhead our own social and political prosperity. 

Alongside celebrity stylists CLIFF VMIR and Angela C. Styles, Lindsey will be hosting a session called "The Business of Black Hair" during which they will discuss the process of reclaiming economic agency in the Black hair industry. 

The attendees include a never-ending list of today's leading entrepreneurs and innovators, all culminating under the roof of the Atlanta Convention Center to inspire and connect with Black women from all over the world. Other speakers include Angela Rye, Sevyn Streeter, Latham Thomas, Franchesca Ramsey, Shannon Boodram, and many more.
