Forbes: CRWN Magazine Named One of 15 Women-Run Indie Magazines To Read When Your Newsfeed's In Flames

We're excited to share that CRWN Magazine has been named one of 15 Women-Run Indie Magazines To Read When Your Newsfeed's In Flames by Forbes, among titles like The Gentlewoman and ILY Magazine! Thanks to Forbes for the love. Excerpt below:

Clickbait. Bots. Comment threads. Trolls.
Let's face it—our 24/7 news cycle and its perpetuation through our social media feeds can be exhausting. The constant barrage of perspective, opinion and disagreement can feel overwhelming and leave little room for analysis. Often times, our oversaturated social lives can lead us to turn in and tune out.
And, although that practice can be good for combating burnout (#teamunplug), there are a few alternatives. When my online world gets so loud that I can't think, I take refuge in slower media from thought leaders and writers I respect and trust. I've found this offers me the space and time I need to recharge my creative juices, process my own thoughts and develop my own opinions. So, today, I'm featuring 15 independently operated, women-run print and digital magazines that have helped me do just that.
