TheBOM Pop Up Shop Summer 2017
Michelle Dalzon grew up with an entrepreneurial spirit inherited by watching her parents run their beauty supply store in Somerville, MA. What started as a desire to update her parents' space to include all Black-owned products has now blossomed into a project of her own: The Black-Owned Market.
TheBOM is a biannual pop-up marketplace that serves to bring convenience to Black buying. By hosting a handpicked selection of local Black-owned brands, theBOM connects Black business owners directly to consumers and potential partners alike, all during a jam-packed, six hour event. Last December, CRWN joined theBOM for a vibrant affair that included vendors such as TracyChambers Vintage, Lorraine West Jewelry, and more.
This summer's pop-up will be a cookout on the rooftop of WeWork Times Square on August 12th. The $22 ticket price includes food, booze, and brand activations.
