New York – Peerspace and URBNFRESH will present “RISING: A PHOTO EXHIBITION” taking place June 8, 2017 at NYC Peerspace art gallery. The exhibition is created to amplify the voices of a diverse set of photographers with images that highlight humans of color.

RISING: A PHOTO EXHIBITION will showcase projects made in Peerspace creative spaces by ten photographers. Each photographer is given an individual space to create the project of their choice. They will then showcase their original images together at the exhibition. Collectively, these artists have a following of more than 110K across various social channels, and create a formative sphere of influence to create a premium experience for the community. You may have seen some of them grace the pages of CRWN Magazine, including our first issue's cover shooter, Travis Matthews.

This event will deliver a library of visually rich and compelling stories and content that will resonate with art-lovers of all levels. In addition to authentic storytelling, the event will also have a panel discussion, hosted by our friends at Minorities in Media Connect (MiMConnect) of rising artists, creatives and entrepreneurs.
